Kevin Leong, MA, MT-BC, is a music therapist who earned his master’s degree in music therapy from Berklee College of Music and has worked as a clinician at Inova Hospital Systems, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Inova Schar Cancer Institute. Previously, he served as Clinical Director at A Place to Be, a nonprofit music therapy organization in Northern Virginia. His clinical experience spans oncology, inpatient behavioral health, pediatrics, and intensive care units. Beyond clinical work, Kevin is active in advocacy and public speaking, presenting at the American Psychological Association’s Healing is Here Summit at the invitation of APA President Dr. Thema Bryant, as well as at regional American Music Therapy Association conferences. Currently, he is pursuing his doctoral degree in clinical psychology, with an emphasis in neuropsychology, at The Chicago School in Washington, D.C. A pianist, guitarist, and vocalist, he is committed to promoting anti-ableist, anti-oppressive, and neurodiversity-affirming practices.
