Graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Music Therapy major and Psychology minor, Ivy Tan is a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) and the founder of Life Tunes Music Therapy.
With 3 years of working experience in Los Angeles, USA at a government funded organization- Ivy was working closely with pediatric palliative care patients and their families as well as older adults in nursing homes to promote quality of life as well as to provide comfort and care.
Currently based in Johor Bahru, Ivy has conducted numerous music therapy workshops and corporate trainings to raise the awareness of music therapy and mental health. With a passion in educating the public on this subject, Ivy has been creating music therapy content on social media and started a podcast as well.
Above all, Ivy is a strong believer of hope and wishes to empower her clients to thrive in both emotional and physical well being through the power of music.
